Resumé

Born in Dallas, Texas, Warren's family moved to Colorado in 1977. Warren was a Boy Scout during his youth, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Kent Denver High School and from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. While at Fort Lewis College, Warren excelled in academics and athletics, twice earning All Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference as a Guard on the football team and was a GTE Co-Sida Academic All-American his senior year. While playing football at Fort Lewis, he returned to Texas each year for games against Texas Colleges. He returned for good in 1996 to attend Baylor Law School.

While at Baylor Law School, Warren met and married the former Kelli Everett, a 1999 graduate of the Hankamer School of Business of Baylor University. Warren and Kelli have two daughters. Warren and his family are members of Trinity Baptist Church.

Warren received his Juris Doctor with a concentration in business litigation from Baylor University School of Law in 1999 and began work at the firm in November 1999. In January 2006, Warren was elevated to partner in the firm. He was board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in January, 2010 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In 2013, he was elected a into membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Since arriving at the firm, he has acted as first chair in more than Twenty jury and non-jury trials. In the last few years, a portion of Warren's practice has followed the legal evolution toward increased use of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Specifically, he has defended and prosecuted several arbitrations for business clients and insurance carriers. Once or twice a year for the last few years, Warren has given presentations on a variety of legal issues to several different civic and business groups. Warren is a member of the Angelina County Bar Association, DRI and TADC. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to having practiced in each of those federal courts, he maintains an active docket in the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas and has had cases before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Louisiana, Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
